Analysts and Surveyors Skill Card
ACAD, BOHS, FAAM (Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management) and NORAC (National Organisation of Asbestos Consultants) have formed a collaboration to deliver a new skills certification card, displaying the CSCS logo, to Asbestos professionals.

ASBESTOS Analysts
Trainee Worker – Asbestos Analyst
Validity: 1 year. No renewal.
Card requirements:
Hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:
- Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
- CCNSG Safety Passport
Asbestos Analyst
Validity: 5 years. Renewable
Card requirements:
Hold valid certificates in ONE of the following routes:
- BOHS P403 AND* P404
- BOHS S301 AND Oral
- BOHS W504 AND oral
- RSPH L3 in Asbestos Air Testing and Clearance procedures
AND
Hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:
- Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
- CCNSG Safety Passport
*P403 without P404 acceptable for the “Asbestos Air Sampling Only” limitation to the Asbestos Analyst card. Applications through the button below.
ASBESTOS SURVEYORS
Trainee – Asbestos Surveyor
Validity: 1 year. No renewal.
Card requirements:
Hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:
- Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
- CCNSG Safety Passport
Asbestos Surveyor
Validity: 5 years. Renewable.
Card requirements:
Hold valid certificates in ONE of the following routes:
- BOHS P402
- BOHS S301 AND Oral
- BOHS W504 AND Oral
- RSPH L3 in Asbestos Surveying
AND hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:
- Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
- CCNSG Safety Passport
Dual Card for Surveyors & Analysts
Skilled Worker –Asbestos Surveyor Analyst (White/Yellow AQP)
Validity: 5 years. Renewable.
Card requirements:
Hold valid certificates in ONE of the following routes:
- BOHS P402 AND P403 AND P404
- BOHS S301 AND Oral
- BOHS W504 AND oral
- RSPH L3 in Asbestos Air Testing and Clearance procedures AND RSPH L3 in Asbestos Surveying
AND hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:
- Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
- CCNSG Safety Passport

Applications will be processed within 10 working days of receipt. If the application is incomplete, we will contact you for further information.
If you have not received your card, or been contacted by us within 10 working days from the date of application, please contact the Skill Card Team.
All application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your application is incomplete or unacceptable you will be given 90 days to resolve any issues.
Any applications returned after 90 days will be subject to an additional £36.00 non-refundable fee.
