TICA Competency Assessments

When applying for a TICA Skill Card one of the requirements is the provision of an S/NVQ Thermal Insulation qualification certificate. If these qualifications have NOT been awarded by TICA a further assessment is required to assure the competency of the applicant.

The 1 day Competency Assessments are held in Darlington at the National Training Centre and can be arranged by clicking here for a link to CourseSight where you can book your place.

The cost of the test is £420 (inc VAT).

If a candidate fails to achieve the required level of practical competency they will be provided with detailed feedback and advised to return to the workplace in order to improve their skill level, with the assistance of their employer.  Once they feel ready to retake the assessment this will be arranged and undertaken, free of charge.
