ACAD Replacement Skill Card

If you have lost your ACAD Skill Card or it has been damaged you can purchase a replacement card here.

If your CSCS Card has expired you must apply for a new ACAD Skill Card.  If you require a replacement CSCS Card, please contact CSCS.

Trained Worker – Non-Licensed Asbestos (Red card, typically less than 3 years’ experience)

Validity: 3 years. No renewal.

Card requirements:

ACAD/IATP/UKATA Non-Licensed Operative New/Refresher Training Certificate within previous 12 months

AND hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:

1. Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
2. CCNSG Safety Passport

   NB: Trained worker card holders cannot progress to an Experienced Worker card. Anyone who has previously held a Licensed Operative Trained or Licensed Operative Experienced Worker card cannot later apply for a non-licensed version of the same card type.
   

   Holders must achieve the relevant qualifications and then progress to the appropriate Skilled Worker or Supervisor card.

   From 1 June, only training certificates issued by providers within the CITB Training Provider Network will be accepted for ACAD skill card applications and renewals.
   

Experienced Worker – Non-Licensed Asbestos (Red card, typically more than 3 years’ experience)

Validity: 1 Year. No Renewal.

Card requirements:

Registered on Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) – AND

ACAD/IATP/UKATA Non-Licensed Operative Refresher Training Certificate within previous 12 months

AND hold valid certificate in ONE of the following: 

1. Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
2. CCNSG Safety Passport

NB: Experienced worker card holders cannot progress to a Trained Worker card. Anyone who has previously held a Licensed Operative Trained or Licensed Operative Experienced Worker card cannot later apply for a non-licensed version of the same card type.

Validity: 5 years. Renewable.

Card requirements:

ACAD/IATP/UKATA Non-Licensed Operative Refresher Training Certificate within previous 12 months

AND hold valid certificate in ONE of the following:

1. Passed the CITB HS&E Test within the previous 2 years
