ACAD is excited to announce we have joined the Trade Association Forum, alongside over 150 other trade associations that span every industry, representing thousands of businesses from SMEs to some of the largest companies in the world.

Since their formation in 1997 by Lord Heseltine, the Trade Association Forum has been the ‘association of associations’ – encouraging the development and sharing of best practice among UK trade associations and promoting the role of effective trade associations to government, industry and the wider public.

Graham Warren, ACAD Manager advised “Whilst ACAD continues to maintain membership of Build UK alongside other mainstream specialist trade associations and tier 1 contractors from across the construction industry, TAF offers this growing association an even wider level of exposure with Government and the wider UK economy”.

Graham’s first engagement with TAF was to represent ACAD members during a Parliamentary reception organised by Sarah Olsen MP to celebrate the contribution of trade associations to the UK.  Graham told us “I was really proud to represent ACAD members and the wider Asbestos industry in the Palace of Westminster, particularly given the global focus on the Palace through recent times.  The sheer variety of trade associations I met on the night was astounding, from Civil Engineering through Pest Control to the National Hair & Beauty Federation!  But amongst all this diversity, everyone shared a common passion to work tirelessly to raise standards and support their members whatever their industry”.

ACAD expect to continue to expand our member benefits & support as we continually strive to offer the very best value Trade Association for all organisations in the Licensed Asbestos community.
