Build UK has produced an executive summary of the Construction Playbook to help the whole supply chain understand its potential to transform the delivery of public sector projects.

Published in December 2020, the Construction Playbook provides a best practice framework, setting out what the Government will deliver for, and expect from, construction. The executive summary provides an easy to read overview of the objectives and outcomes, the 14 key policies, and what it means for the industry.

By preparing the industry for the changes on public sector projects, we can help to accelerate the implementation of the Playbook and realise its benefits, with Build UK Vice Chairman Andy Steele highlighting that “embedding these new ways of working across all Government departments and throughout the supply chain is the important next step”.
