The Thermal Insulation Contractors Association
Since 1957, TICA has been the voice of the UK’s industrial and commercial insulation sector. As the leading trade association in the field, we are dedicated to raising standards, supporting our members, and driving innovation across the industry.
Our National Training Centre in Darlington, established in 2001, is the heart of our training and development efforts. With over £1 million invested by our members, the centre delivers industry-leading training, assessment, and support services to ensure a highly skilled, future-ready workforce.
TICA is a company limited by guarantee, registered with Companies House (Company No. 01885918).
About Us
Our team is based at the National Training Centre in Darlington, where we manage all aspects of training, assessment, and member support. We are backed by a network of expert advisors in:

TICA is governed by the National Joint Council and the Governing Council, with strategic leadership from our Chief Executive Officer, Marion Marsland.
