To support ACAD’s central aim of working with our members and others to raise standards, ACAD has introduced auditing of our maintenance Licence holder members from 2020.
So far ACAD has undertaken audits on an ad hoc basis to many of our ancillary Licence holder members who have all fed back how useful the audit was, particularly given the HSE’s new approach to Licence renewals and their preference for external auditing of Licence holders.
ACAD Manager Graham Warren commented “This stepping up of the assurance provided through ACAD has been welcomed by our members in particular those who have already benefitted from the in depth nature of an ACAD audit and the opportunities for improvement they provide.”
The ACAD audit will be undertaken at our members premises and will be arranged through their representative to ensure live work can be observed to maximise the benefit to them. Members can obtain additional audits if required through ACAD.
