For almost 30 years, ACAD has been promoting best practice at the forefront of the Licensed Asbestos Industry. Based in Darlington, ACAD operates the NVQ centre for the Asbestos Industry and represents our members with HSE, and in the wider construction industry they are represented through our membership of Build UK. ACAD is a part of TICA, and works closely with our on-site Awarding Organisation, IETTL. ACAD has now reached a point where we are looking to reshape the association to meet the evolving challenges driven by our substantial membership growth in recent times.
To support this ongoing development, a variety of roles are available including trainers, assessors, Internal Quality Assurance, Training Manager, audit manager and combinations of these depending upon your skill set, experience and preferred career path. Whilst auditing, training or assessing qualifications would be beneficial, we are happy to receive applications from candidates with good industry experience who are looking to undertake trainee roles and develop with the association.
What is crucial for both qualified or trainee roles is you will have an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach to work. You will have good communication skills and will take pride in your work and relish a challenge.
