TICA are delighted to announce that the portal with BSI is now live and ready for TICA full members to access.

BSI represent UK economic and social interests across all European and international standards organisations and in the development of business information solutions for British organizations of all sizes and sectors. BSI publish over 3,100 standards annually, underpinned by a collaborative approach, engaging with industry experts, government bodies, trade associations, businesses of all sizes and consumers to develop standards that reflect good business practice.

Chris Ridge, TICA’s Technical Policy Manager says “TICA are working with our members to ensure they are well placed to adapt to the changes that will be bought about by the Building Safety Act. Contractors of all shapes and sizes will be expected to evidence their competence and it is only right that specialist sub-contractors are able to access the standards that guide good practice in their respective trades.”

“The vast majority of TICA members are SME businesses, and we recognise that accessing relevant standards could be problematic. We have therefore partnered with the BSI to develop a portal for full members to access thermal insulation related standards.”

TICA are currently limiting access to one person per member company.
