Michael Kasajja said “Winning the apprentice of the year award is an incredible honour, particularly given the extraordinary strength of the field this year. With many good candidates to choose from, the judges must have had an incredibly difficult job so I would like to thank everyone that voted for me. Very few things in life are entirely the work of just one person and this is no exception. Massive thank you to ARG and ACAD for the enormous support without which none of this would have been possible. To all my fellow apprentices this award is as much for you as it is for me. The future looks bright.”
Five apprentices were shortlisted, with the winners announced at the ACAD Awards Dinner earlier this month. The ACAD training team selected the shortlisted candidates based on their knowledge, attitude and skills whilst completing their training in Darlington.
