This year’s Skills Test will be the first test to take place in the newly refurbished and extended Workshop Training area and the test will be assessed by 2 independent, qualified Thermal Insulation assessors ensuring a completely transparent outcome. A scoring matrix will be compiled and, in the event of a tie, an additional, advanced task will be undertaken.
Marion Marsland, TICA CEO, will host a dinner for the finalists on 2 July at The Blackwell Grange Hotel.
All of the finalists will be invited to the TICA Annual Lunch in Blackpool, in September where the winner will be announced. The winner will then form part of the UK team who will take part in the European Championships in 2020 in The Netherlands.
