Following the recent tightening of Government restrictions and rising Covid infection rates, TICA has made the decision to suspend all apprenticeship training for two months.
All learners will shortly receive written confirmation of their intended training delivery for 2021 with an adjustment made to remove any attendance at the National Training Centre in Darlington during the months of January and February.
It is our current intention that practical training for all apprentices will resume from 1st March onwards although at this stage we remain mindful of the changing nature of the virus and will endevour to remain in close contact with all learners. The TICA team will be regularly reviewing the situation over the coming weeks and our administration team will remain operational providing updates to employers and to learners on a regular basis.
All employers and apprentices will shortly be receiving verbal and written confirmation for the practical training elements of their apprenticeship from 1st January 2021 onwards.
TICA House will remain open providing normal service to our Trade Association Members although as many staff will be operating from home, we advise anyone wishing to speak to a member of staff to email first on our general address at: enquiries@tica.uk.com
