Training
ACAD offers access to a wide range of industry training. ACAD training courses are developed with input from industry leading experts, including the ACAD Technical Committee, and as the Asbestos industry continues to evolve, we ensure our courses reflect the very latest industry changes. We’re able to do this via our involvement in all relevant groups including the HSE Asbestos Network Technical Working Group and Licensing Working Group.
Quality is ensured through regular teaching and learning observations and a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). All participants have the opportunity to feedback on any training course they attend, and we use this feedback to continue to improve. ACAD is a division of TICA, who were recently judged ‘good’ in all areas in our Ofsted Inspection. And whilst ACAD training is out of scope for Ofsted inspection, we ensure ACAD training is to the same high standards.
Our face to face and online courses utilises some of the latest technologies, resources and activities to bring sessions to life and to encourage participants to meaningfully engage. ACAD pioneered remote training delivery from the very onset of the covid pandemic, moving effortlessly from face-to-face delivery to online delivery thanks in part to the high quality approach synonymous with ACAD training. In particular, ACAD encourages members to utilise our in-house training solutions for refreshers where we are able to offer bespoke sessions to refresh all levels within your organisation.
