Charity of the Year

The TICA/ACAD Charity of the Year will be announced at our 60th Celebrations in October. Who should be chosen? We need your help!

We have shortlisted three very deserving charities and we want to know who you think we should be supporting. Please email your vote to Lynne Lambe.

British Heart Foundation is the nation’s leading heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research. Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer but BHF is leading the fight against it. Their pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.

Alzheimers Society is committed to creating a world without dementia. Their mission is to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day a cure is found, they will strive to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Cancer Research UK has a vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Their ambition is to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving the disease within the next 20 years. Their new strategy will give them the foundations they need to tackle the challenges ahead.
